Privacy Policy
We built this directory to help people find welcoming communities — not to harvest their data. Here's exactly what we collect and why.

What we collect
The directory itself collects nothing passively. The only personal information we receive is what you voluntarily provide when you submit a church via the Add a Church form — your name and email are optional and used only to follow up on your submission if needed.
Church submission forms
Submissions are processed through Web3Forms, a third-party form service. When you submit, Web3Forms receives the form data and forwards it to our email. Their privacy policy is available at web3forms.com/privacy. We do not store submission data on our own servers beyond the email we receive.
Server logs
Like any website, our hosting provider automatically logs basic request information — IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. These logs are used solely for diagnosing technical issues and are retained for no longer than 30 days. We do not use them to identify individuals.
Cookies
This site does not use advertising cookies or tracking cookies. We do not use Google Analytics or any other analytics service that tracks you across the web. If we ever add anonymised analytics in the future, we will update this policy.
Third-party services
The directory uses the following third-party services to display content:
- OpenStreetMap / Leaflet.js — used to render interactive maps. When the map loads, your browser connects to OpenStreetMap tile servers. See OpenStreetMap's privacy policy.
- Google Fonts — used to load the Inter typeface. Your browser requests the font from Google's servers. See Google's privacy policy.
- Google AdSense — some pages may display contextual advertisements served by Google. Google may use cookies to serve ads. See Google's advertising policy.
Church data
Church listings include publicly available information such as name, address, phone number, and website URL. This information is sourced from public records, Google Maps, church websites, and community submissions. If you represent a church and would like your listing updated or removed, please contact us.
Children's privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
